Temporary Finance Officer

Working hours: Monday - Friday (Office hours)


Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the management of the account receivables, which include: 
    • Collate list of persons owing outstanding payments, 
    • Send payment reminders to persons owing outstanding payments by email and physical letter and 
    • Answer queries by phone as part of the collections process
  • Documentation and tracking of accounts receivables process and work with internal stakeholders to improve reminder/demand letter templates
  • Assist in process reviews to streamline current process and explore the possibility of outsourcing
  • Work with interns to propose and revise key metrics to update senior management via dashboards
  • Able to collaborate and work with internal and external stakeholders

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum qualification: Diploma
  • Experience in Finance with experience in handling Accounts Receivables (Public Sector experience is preferred)
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Mature, independent, proactive, and a team player
  • Able to manage tasks well within a tight timeline
  • Prior working experience in public sector agencies and awareness of dashboard software, particularly MicroStrategy, would be an added advantage
