Your role as a Store Manager:

BASIC RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Responsible for achieving customer satisfaction, sales and profit target for the store.
  • Provide efficient and effective management of operations team in merchandising, operating disciplines and outlining business strategies.


PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITY

  • Responsible for the strict compliance of all established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and personnel policies by all divisions by conducting routine supervision and follow through.
  • Formalize strategy and establish business plan to optimize sales, margin, profits and manage shrinkage.
  • Involve in the analysis and forecast of market trend to assist store to stay ahead of competition.
  • Ensure all merchandising, corporate strategies and directives are implemented and executed with excellence to achieve operating effectiveness.
  • Ensure each division manage their inventory level and stock holding days without affecting product availability at selling floor to optimize sales.
  • Ensure adherence to HR policies at store level to maintain a well coordinated and cohesive organization structure.
  • Ensure development of subordinates via training programs identified in training directory and/or through internal and corporate projects.
  • Conduct daily walk-through of the store, roll call, briefing and communication daily to inform staff of key objectives, customer feedback, and sales comparison and to ensure operations runs smoothly.
  • Provide appropriate coaching and support to the team to develop a high performance team.
  • Ensure development of subordinates via training programs identified in training directory and/or through internal and corporate projects.
  • Work with buyers and merchandisers about product allocation for events and festivals.

Job requirement:

  • Minimum O, A Levels or Diploma in any discipline.
  • At least 3 - 5 years of supermarket experience in managerial level.
  • Related supermarket experiences and supervisory background is a MUST.
  • Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to acts quickly and decisively
  • Must be comfortable to travel island-wide whenever needed. (Based on the store needs and availability)
