Senior Executive (Engagement)

Your role is to help in developing and implementing industry engagement strategies and initiatives that significantly increase the participation of companies and other stakeholders in collaborative research projects. 

Key responsibilities 

  • Assist in developing and implementing marketing plans, including but not limited to, content creation and distribution, and designing marketing communications 
  • Manage and update website and social media platforms 
  • Directly engage companies in relevant sectors to establish relationships and support for research initiatives  
  • Develop strategic partnership initiatives, identify new partners and partnership opportunities 
  • Create and grow strong networks with relevant industry partners and connectors, engaging them through various channels such as social media, emails, and events 
  • Organise industry events such as networking or sharing sessions 
  • Any other ad-hoc activities

Job requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree; relevant experience in lieu of education will be considered 
  • At least 3 years in corporate engagement and/or public affairs, preferably with experience in areas of marketing, sales, outreach and/or communications 
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective, sustainable relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and to liaise effectively at all levels 
  • Experience in outreach and engagement with companies in various industries and at different business levels would be an advantage  
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and adept at cultivating partnerships with stakeholders 
  • The ability to work in a dynamic environment, learn quickly and adapt to new circumstances 
  • Interest in or exposure to the ICT sector would be a plus
