Job description:
- Source, develop & manage direct relationships and drive senior-level engagement with key partners across the merchants/ payments ecosystem ( e-commerce, retail, travel and other industries)
- Create and execute the plan for the market, help build processes and documentation in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Independently develop, negotiate and execute term sheets and contracts with partners, often under time pressure
- Identify and maintain pipelines & tracking documents, communicate key updates to leadership & cross-functional teams
- Ensure that partners are mobilizing around actual deployments / implementations and once live, engage with partners to optimize implementations and drive growth
- Drive cross-functional engagement with teams including Marketing and Operations in order to deliver on key product area objectives
Job requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or quantitative/business-oriented field or equivalent practical experience.
- At Least 5-7 years of work experience in a relevant functional area (business development, partnerships, sales, management consulting, strategy, operations)
- 8-10 plus of experience with demonstrated track record of initiating, implementing, and successfully driving new business opportunities with partners
- Capable of operating effectively in ambiguous, constantly evolving environments
- Work experience in payments industry, or on payments-related products
- Excellent oral / written communication
