Project Manager (Exhibitions)

  1. Project Management

    1. Lead a cross-divisional or internal team to oversee the successful completion of exhibition projects and ad-hoc displays

    2. Planning of project timelines and milestones, and monitor progress to meet deadlines

    3. Planning and allocation of project budget and monitor expenditure to ensure adequate provision and project is on budget

    4. Work with internal colleagues and external vendors/partners to achieve project deliverables. Conduct regular and ad-hoc meetings

    5. Responsible for reporting project updates, project documentation and communications for publicity and marketing purposes.

2. Project Implementation 

  1. Undertake all procurement procedures required in the exhibition project in compliance with NLB regulations

    1. Manage and monitor project budget for exhibition to maximum utilisation within the allocation sum

    2. Liaise and manage vendors and internal project team to meet deadlines and delivery expected quality of work.

    3. Monitor progress of exhibition works (design, fabrication, installation) 

    4. Planning of project timelines and milestones, and monitor progress to meet deadlines

    5. To coordinate loans, transportation and return of artefacts/exhibits and communications for publicity and marketing purposes.

    6. Oversee maintenance and technical support of exhibitions

    7. To ensure conservation requirements of rare artefacts are met

    8. Responsible for reporting project updates, project documentation

3. Exhibition Administration and Venue Sponsorship

  1. Manage overall calendar of exhibitions including venue sponsorship by external organisations

    1. Oversee the management of exhibition website

    2. Liaise with parties seeking venue sponsorship to facilitate evaluation and recommendation for venue sponsorship

    3. Facilitate necessary logistic for set-up of venue sponsored exhibitions


Job requirements:

  • Tertiary education in Business, Social Sciences or relevance discipline

  • At least 2 years’ experience in project management of exhibitions or events

  • Strong administrative, organisational and project management skills

  • Meticulous and having an eye for details

  • Able to work well in a team as well as independently 

  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure

  • Prior experience in procurement of goods and services for the public sector will be an advantage
