Working closely with the Country Manager, Singapore, the incumbent is responsible for all marketing activities for Data Center Sales in:
- Conceptualizing Marketing Plans and Strategies (Marketing Road-Map)
- Market Research and Competitor Analysis
- New Product Development/New Product Launches
- Preparing Sales and Marketing Reports including of budgeting
- Preparing Content and Input for Communication Tools
- Brand Management
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Acquire product knowledge in data cabinet, PDU, containment, cable management and UPS and support training/events, product launches, presentations, and communication tools.
- Generate reports on Markets, Competition and Sales Analysis.
- Pro-actively monitor competition and undertake price comparisons of the product ranges.
- Monitor Product Portfolio Life Cycle.
- Support Press and Partner relationships (Distributors, Partners, Clients, Organisers, etc.).
- Support creation of marketing tools by providing product information and recommending technical features.
- Prepare and submit yearly budget related files and quarterly marketing reporting.
- Contribute to define and implement Marketing Plan.
- Identify product compliance standards, monitor, and maintain certification of product.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma / Degree in Marketing / Engineering with 2 to 3 years’ direct experience in product marketing experience is key.
- Experience in Data Center Industry, System integrator doing turnkey solution for Data Center Solutions or Co-location industry is a must.
- Strategic thinker with strong understanding of product trends.
- Independent, mature and self-motivated with a positive attitude.
- Team player with good interpersonal skills.
- Good communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
