Payroll Assistant (12 months contract)

Job description:

  1. Payroll run - Payroll Final Computation, Training Computation Worksheet, Print & Distribute payslips, attend to employee queries on payroll matters (locally in Singapore)
  2. Partner with Payroll Manager to ensure all due diligence of payroll activities 
  3. Maintaining payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data.
  4. Updates payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers.
  5. Prepares reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, Overtimes and other relevant wages.
  6. Determines payroll liabilities by calculating employee income, taxes and employer's CPF.
  7. Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
  8. Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests.
  9. Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
  10. 10. Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping the information confidential.
  11. TMS - Clocking data transfer to TMS
  12. 12. OT data - Download OT Timesheets and compute/enter OT data into system
  13. Letter preparations - Acceptance of Resignation, BOC, Promotion, Salary Adjustment, Re-designation, Letter of certification, Acceptance of Withdrawal of Resignation
  14. Tax clearance (IRAS - IR21) and government claims focal point - NS, GPPL (Paternity Leave), GPML (Maternity Leave) and CCL (Childcare Leave), Respond to MINDEF queries (NS Reservist Claims - provide supporting docs), Download Foreign Worker Levy (FWL) via MOM website
  15. New hires/resignees - create position code & enter data into system, updating Education Details as and when needed, issue Staff Pass / Access Card, Resignees Exit Clearance & last payment
  16. Leave management - Approve Medical Leave & FCL, Apply leave for DIMAC Team, Assist to update leave quotas (DSD - Delivery Assistant & Driver), Cancel approved leave in SAP, Filing
  17. SF – Update/maintain Employee data in SF (new hire, termination, life events, change of bank account, WP Renewal, etc.)
  18. Festive drink - Employee list (CNY,Raya, Deepavali, Christmas) RF Permanent Staffs, Red Packet (Prepare Employee list) RF Permanent Staffs
