Legis (Database Management) Temp Staff

Salary: $7.50 per hour

Office Hours

Monday - Thursday: 8.30am – 6.00pm

Friday: 8.30am – 5.30pm


Your role as a Temp staff (Database Management)

- Conduct checks on accuracy of content of legislation

  1. Perform independent/2-way checks to verify that identified legislation is accurate, and to look for inconsistencies
  2. Conduct subsequent verification to ensure that errors found in the initial checks are rectified 
  3. Verify that the timelines of identified legislation are accurate 
  4. Ensure that formatting of identified legislation comply with Legislation House Styles
  5. Check that amendments made to the identified legislation and its amendment references are accurately reflected 

 

- Administrative work and data entry : 

  1. Filing and maintaining the files of reference and verified copies 
  2. Maintain spreadsheets of identified legislation 
  3. Update progress of legislation verification process 

 

- Resource services: 

  1. Prepare PDF copies of identified legislation to be checked 
  2. Scan hard copies of identified legislation for use of documentation and comparison
  3. Compare identified legislation against their hard copies


Requirement:

- Minimum ‘O/A’ Levels

- A good command of the English Language

- Able to follow closely instructions

- Good time management
