Working Hours (Dependent on Department:
a)
Mondays - Fridays 8.30am - 6.00pm
Note: May be required to work on weekends and public holidays, due to operations demands.
b)
Alternate working days, 12-hr shift
8.00am - 9.00pm, including one hour lunch break (including Sat/Sun/PH)
Job Scope:
1) Supervisory
• Supervise and lead the team in stakeholder and vendor management, including negotiations with internal and external parties including government bodies, volunteers, external auditors, vendors etc.
• Provide guidance in the preparation of operational reports and recommendations.
• Assist the Director in setting goals that promote the profile of the team and provide professional advice and guidance to the staff in relation to their work and career matters
• Oversee and manage the workload and daily activities of the team and ensure outcomes are achieved with efficiency.
• Assist in the preparation of budget, operational schedules, and other organisational reports, when required.
2) Project Management
• Manage cross-functional teams in project deliveries and assist to track project timelines and milestones.
• Manage contract terms, change management, identify potential risks and devise contingency plans.
• Provide regular projects communications including status updates to senior management and stakeholders.
• Create a positive team environment and coordinate work effort of each team member in a cohesive fashion.
• Participate in tender project management and maintenance costing as well as quotations.
3) Policy and Planning
• Direct and administer complex planning projects and participate in the development of new initiatives.
• Identify the inter-relationship of diverse planning issues and advise COVID-19 Operations on the best way to effectively integrate agency-wide planning efforts.
• Analyse, interpret, and explain complex planning reports and studies.
• Communicate effectively and persuasively, both orally and in writing, to a wide variety of diverse constituencies and stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain highly effective working relationships with direct and indirect employees and leadership team in COVID-19 Operations.
• Represent MOH or the Task Group in negotiations, meetings and forums convened to discuss policy and planning issues.
