Gallery Outreach Assistant

Job responsibilities :

  • Assist in the management of the Museum-based Learning Programme which includes project management of museum educators and administration duties including scheduling and processing of payment
  • Manage relationships with museum educators and report on emerging issues and feedback received 
  • Assist in the observation sessions during school visits at the museums and heritage institutions
  • Liaise with museum educators and internal education staff 
  • Support other education projects at the Education and Community Outreach Division
  • Other research related to museum/state-held collections of artworks and artefacts.

Job requirements:

  • Min Degree in any relevant field of studies
  • Passion for educating and interacting with children and students
  • Good interpersonal, communication, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Meticulous, dynamic, self-motivated and a team player
  • Possess strong analytical, written and oral communication skills
