Executive Officer (Youth Programmes)

Job responsibilities:

  • Programme Management
    • Manage and arrange existing programmes, initiatives and monthly operational meetings
    • Working closely with community agencies to manage and oversee the smooth running of the programmes; and analysing data and statistics.
    • Manage financial and administrative paperwork/ responsibilities related to the programme. 
  • Comms and Engagement
    • Plan events, monthly visits, or engagement sessions for stakeholders and partners to raise awareness. 
    • Craft social media posts to support publicity efforts and for post-event amplification. 
    • Design infographic materials on relevant research, programmes or initiatives and slides for presentations when needed.
    • Maintain and manage public-facing websites and social media platforms
  • Partnerships 
    • Suggest ideas and seek out opportunities for interested stakeholders to co-develop
    • Implement pilot projects or programmes that support national initiatives under the organisation's ambit. 
  • Secretariat
    • Support as secretariat at various platforms. These include logistical and administrative support (e.g. setting up meeting rooms, note-taking).

Job requirement:

  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in basic Microsoft software. 
    • Experience in design work will be an advantage.
  • Functional/Soft Skills:
    • Strong writing, interpersonal and communication skills. 
    • Creative, analytical, resourceful and highly motivated. 
    • Ability to work independently, as well as a good team player in a dynamic environment.
    • Ability to multi-task, work independently and be an effective team player. 
  • Experience/Special Requirements:
    • Degree holder in a related discipline, preferably with a minimum of 2 – 3 years of related experience in programme management, partnerships or engagement. 
    • Corporate communications and event management experience will be a bonus. 
    • Strong interpersonal skills; comfortable working and engaging multiple stakeholders in the public and people sector; able to build good collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
