Transformation focus

• Review category procurement process and policies to identify key pain points and bottlenecks

• Recommend changes to existing procurement processes according to strategic considerations and lessons learned from previous initiatives

• Identify opportunities for consolidation of initiatives and combined solutions

• End-to-end responsibility for development of improvement activities

• Communicate developed improvement artefacts/outcomes with broader stakeholders

• Follow local and global procurement and category trends (with a business focus)

• Be skilled across tools such as Excel, Powerpoint, PowerBI, Teams, Teams Planner and Sharepoint Design and Administration

Sourcing focus

• Guide business users on procurement policy and practices

• Pro-actively engage stakeholders to develop category strategies

• Run or guide tenders as required

• Drive contract negotiations with suppliers with support from key stakeholders

• Enforce governance to procurement policy throughout the procurement cycle

• Provide market knowledge, intelligence and expertise while working closely with business stakeholders and suppliers
