Associate/Assistant Manager, Business Processing

Job Purpose

You will report to Team Lead, Business Processing (Group Insurance Operations), and to carry out the daily tasks of the business processing and process review.

The Job Description

  • Issuance of policy contracts and endorsements;
  • Issuance of policy adjustment, member movement;
  • Responsible for premiums computation and experience refund;
  • Ensure tax invoices/endorsement schedules/medical cards are issued timely;
  • Liaise with direct clients/intermediaries on employee benefits related queries via phone calls or email;
  • Ensure the accuracy of records entries & proper documentation;
  • Participate in projects which improve operations efficiency and effectively review the current processes and initiate improvement;
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing prior to deployment of changes in system; Maintenance of Department records and endorsements; and
  • Provide administrative support and perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by Team Lead.

Job Requirement:

  • At least Diploma from recognized institution;
  • Preferred at least 1 year relevant experience specializing in insurance administration/business processing;
  • Possess experience in processing group insurance policies will be an advantage;
  • Good time management, good analytical skills, detailed-oriented and pro-activeness;
  • Task and results oriented, and a good team player;
  • Mathematically inclined and with good communication skills;
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel. The job requires significant data sorting and manipulation;
  • Proficient in other Microsoft Office applications; and
  • Assistant Manager Position can be offered to candidate with more relevance experience
