Archives Records Assistant

Job description:

  1. Assist in the physical retrieval of boxes of records from shelves
  2. Check and verify the availability of files in each box against records listings
  3. Data entry of records listings (type new entries or update existing listings)
  4. Prepare files for digitization (removal of pins and staples from the records)

Job requirement:

  • Able to keep up with a physically demanding job e.g. need to climb a ladder, handling heavy boxes as part of daily work
  • IT proficient 
  • Organised, meticulous and able to multi-task
