Job description:

  • Demonstrate experience in working in a highly complex environment (critical infrastructure, 24x7 operations)
  • Responsible for ensuring smooth and stable application maintenance / operations of critical healthcare application systems, reporting to Service Delivery Manager of overall Operations
  • Responsible for managing and coordinating resolution of all Critical issues to minimize disruptions to the 24x7 operations of the system
  • Provide Troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis of production incidents in accordance to Service Level Agreements
  • Provide workarounds for incidents that cannot be immediately resolved so that users can continue with their business as usual
  • Organize and participate in conference calls, meetings, etc. needed to facilitate the investigation of Production outages/problems and subsequent restoration of service
  • Establish and practice business continuity and disaster recovery procedures to ensure recovery capability
  • Provide advisory to teams on technical/process concepts related to operations team
  • To identify Service Improvement Plans & lead them to closure by coordinating within & outside the team by effective collaboration & communication
  • Provide mentorship to the teams leads & team members

Job requirement:

  • More than 8 yrs of IT Application Systems Management with strong experience in Operations Team management & Client Stakeholder management.
  • A strong team player with leadership qualities
  • Knowledge of application support on various technology areas such as Liferay, Java technologies, data integration, analytics, API/ESB integration etc
  • Able to coordinate with multiple workstreams to manage, optimize and meeting client SLA’s.
  • Strong team lead skills to manage team of upto 20 members
  • Able to coordinate with the infrastructure team with relevant understanding of the underlying technology
  • Able to diagnose and resolve complex multi-technology problems/issues
  • Strong application support governance and operational discipline
  • Strong communication skills with both the internal team and client stakeholders
  • Able to understand business/functional requirements for assessing complex issues
