The SP (S Pass) is for candidates (e.g. technicians) who hold Mid Level Skills and wish to work in Singapore. Candidates will be assessed on a point system, taking into account multiple criterias. Candidates have to accumulate points based on how far they actually meet with the criteria.

The basic criteria are as follows:-

• Candidate earns a minimum salary of S$2,000

• Candidate holds a degree, diploma. Or;

• Candidate holds a technical certificate that qualifies him/her to be a technician or specialist in their chosen field. The certification should comprise of at least one (1) year of full-time studies. Or;

• Candidate holds an educational qualification for a type of job of professional, specialist or technician level. Or;

• Candidate holds an educational qualification for a number of years of relevant work experience.
